Our mission at the Southeast Texas Food Bank: Leading The Fight Against Hunger in Southeast Texas. We serve the counties of Jefferson, Orange, Hardin, Jasper, Newton, Polk, Sabine, and Tyler. We distribute to approximately 130 nonprofit agencies within these 8 counties.

Food Bank Facts:

More than 16,000 households receive food each month from member agencies of the Southeast Texas Food Bank.

Approximately 200,000 meals are prepared each month with food provided by the Food Bank.

1 in every 4 children in Texas lives in poverty.

15% of the elderly in Southeast Texas live in poverty.
